Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description
Behind-the-head design eliminates tangles and provides a light, comfortable fit that’s perfect for music on the go.
The Motorola S10-HD is the only Bluetooth stereo headset that provides high-definition audio in a sweat proof design, so your wireless music stays with you in the gym and on-the-go. An advanced design protects against sweat and moisture, and the completely wireless, behind-the-head design eliminates tangles and provides a light, comfortable fit that's perfect for music on the go.

Simple controls on the headphones allow you to adjust volume, change tracks, play/pause your music and take calls--music automatically pauses during calls and resumes after the call. High definition audio ensures you'll enjoy your music in rich surround sound. Plus, with up to 8 hours of play time and 9 hours of talk time, the S10-HD will last through all of life's little adventures. It's compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones for taking calls, but it requires a mobile phone or digital audio player with an embedded A2DP Bluetooth profile for stereo music streaming.
Sweat it Out
Optimized for an active lifestyle, the S10-HD uses advanced materials like hydrophobic acoustic mesh in a lightweight, sweat-proof design. The new ear cushion interface protects the speaker from sweat, and silicone seals protect electrical components throughout the headphones. To reduce exposure to moisture, all buttons are co-molded and the micro-USB charging cover is molded to the headphones housing with a waterproof plug. Perfect for your daily workout, outdoor adventure or just when you're out and about, the S10-HD keeps the moisture out and the music flowing.

Let's Get Loud
Never sacrifice audio quality when listening to your tunes on the go. The S10-HD delivers high-definition sound wirelessly right to your ears, for a top-notch listening experience. An advanced acoustic design, digital tuning and enhanced bass deliver rich, clear sound so you can hear your music the way it's meant to be heard.
Hear and Feel the Difference
The S10-HD refines the award-winning design that redefined wireless music. The back housing is redesigned to optimize antenna performance outdoors. An angled wraparound design minimizes the appearance of your headset for a discreet look. Additional ear cushions are included to further optimize your comfort. A secure, comfortable fit will optimize your audio experience. Try the 4 different ear gel sizes that come with the product to find the best fit for you.
You're In Control
Perfectly placed, easy to operate buttons let you play, skip and pause music, adjust volume and answer calls effortlessly. Expecting a call? There's no need to disconnect your headphones--the music will automatically pause when a call comes in, and resume when you hang up.

Customer Reviews

When I first started using these, I thought I was going to have to return them. They connected easily to my Android phone, and sounded good with Pandora, bTunes, even on phone calls. They even sounded great. The problem was they hurt my outer ears a lot. There was tremendous pressure on the tops of my ears. Obviously, I tried to adjust the fit, in accordance with the directions and the picture on the Motorola website of someone wearing them. Nothing seemed to work. Today, after running 7 miles in them, I decided to return them. 10 minutes later, I realized that the part that was hitting the top of my ears was supposed to go behind the ears. They now feel great, and I'll definitely be keeping them. They even sound better when worn correctly.
Before you discount what I'm saying, or assume that I'm a complete moron for not knowing how to wear headphones, be warned that the directions for wearing them, and the picture on the Motorola website imply that you are supposed to wear them incorrectly.
Now that I'm wearing them correctly, here are the things they do well:
+ Sound Great
+ Connect easily
+ Switch between calls and music seamlessly
+ Feel comfortable, though they are quite a bit heavier than any other headphones, even the older Motorlas (S-9 and S9-HD)
+ Very well made.
+ The battery life is exceptional and you can charge it off micro-USB.
The owner's manual is pretty much useless. The format is tiny, and they put more effort into being hip than providing a useful manual for the product. Fortunately, it is intuitive to use.
The price on these is reasonable, considering what you get and what it can do. I bought mine at Best Buy because Amazon didn't have them yet, and the third party sellers that have them on here are kind of pricey.
I highly recommend that you buy these. I think that you will love them, once you figure out how to fit them.
//update August 24th, 2011 //
After having these for a year, I decided to buy another pair to see if they have changed at all. They have but only cosmetically. Although the old ones continue to work well, the second generation of these has some slight changes. One of the many things that hasn't changed is the model number and name. The way to tell the second generation from the first is that the white material that touches your head next to your ears is now red. Also the black plastic on the back/top of them is shiny instead of muted. The performance seems to be the same with the new ones as the old ones, though the buttons are a little easier to operate and the battery life appears to be longer.

My comments about Best Buy and 3rd party sellers being better was only true for the first month that they were out.
I highly recommend that you buy these. I think that you will love them, once you figure out how to fit them.
UPDATE - January 9th, 2011 - UPDATE
I am still loving these after months of very heavy and sweaty use. They work and sound great. I am posting this update, because I recently bought a Giro G9 Ski and Snowboard helmet and was about to buy the Bluetooth inserts for it. After a bunch of research about how badly the various inserts work, I decided to try wearing the S10-HDs with my helmet. To my amazement it fit and worked perfectly, saving me a lot of money, and providing me an experience that is much better than the alternatives.
UPDATE - May 14th, 2011 - UPDATE
I have been using these for almost a year now and still love them. I don't really understand the negative reviews, unless Motorola has an inconsistent build quality and some people are getting lemons. Please let me update you on a few aspects of my experience:
Sweat-proof/rainproof - I run in these every day. They are covered in sweat by the time I get home every time. Despite being wet with sweat or rain for long periods of time daily, I've never had a problem with them. I can't explain why so many other reviewers are.
Sound quality - I am not a sound aficionado though I can tell when headphones don't sound right though. To an average listener, these headphones sound fine. To me, they sound just as good as my Bose QC-1.5s though that is probably more because of my unrefined average ear, than to them really being "Bose Quality". My point is not to get discouraged by the reviews that complain about the audio quality, unless you are one of the small percentage of people that can tell between good and great headphones. I can't.
Fit - The fit on these is fine. Even worn correctly, they do become uncomfortable after a few hours, but most headphones do. The fit thing I like about these is their versatility. I wear them mowing the lawn, under Remington shooting hearing protection, skiing, with a Giro ski helmet, and cycling, under a bike helmet. By being able to fit in all these different applications, they've saved me from having to consider buying inferior specialty headphones.
After almost a year, I still highly recommend these headphone.
